Our Mission

MinnElectric is becoming a Minnesota-wide hub for electricians and the customers who rely on them. We’re building a clear, browsable directory, local forums for Minnesota-specific questions, and a MN-only Marketplace/Swap for tools and materials. Start local—find help nearby, compare specialties, and keep projects safe and code-compliant.

What We’re Building

Directory (By City & Specialty)

Find licensed electricians across Minnesota. Filter by service: Residential • Commercial • Industrial • EV • Solar • Service Upgrades • Troubleshooting.

Planned IA: Region → County → City pages with clear contact info and licensing notes.

Local Forums (Minnesota Only)

Ask and answer MN-specific questions—permits, inspections, winter issues, utility coordination. Require city/region tags for every thread to keep advice local.

For broader pro conversations, head to KingOfTrades.US.

Marketplace / Swap (MN-Only)

Trade, sell, or find tools, meters, ladders, benders, and surplus materials—locally. Prefer meetups and clear condition photos. Minnesota swap only.

Future: City filters (MPLS, St. Paul, Duluth, Rochester, Mankato…) and safety tips for exchanges.

Why Start with Power?

Local First: Minnesota homes and businesses face real-world conditions—winter loads, ice, aging panels, and utility coordination. A local directory and forums help you find the right expertise nearby and get inspection-ready results the first time.

Lanz Electric: For Saint Paul and the metro, Lanz delivers clean, code-compliant work from small fixes to whole-home builds—prompt on hazards and outages, and backed by A+ Better Business Bureau Accreditation. Visit LanzElectric.com.

KingOfTrades.US: For bigger-scope discussions and a wider bench of pros, join the forums at KingOfTrades.US—code interpretations, troubleshooting flow, standby power strategies, and gear that works.
